The Fierce and Humble is a warm and open group which explores faith and spirituality from a Christian perspective, using a variety of books and series to stimulate discussion. Because of the theological diversity of the group, members covenant to listen to each other with humility, even as they embrace their convictions fiercely. The group’s first fall study is “Becoming a Peacemaker in a Violent World,” a four-week New Testament exploration of the roots and fruits of peace. The group, primarily comprised of women, is open to all adults. Meetings are Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., in Room 205 starting September 3.
