Path to Gratitude - 2017 Stewardship Campaign

Help us increase our pledged giving from 64% of the congregation pledging to 70%+. Prayerfully consider how you may stretch your investment in God's work through BUMC. Submit Your 2017 Pledge

GOD has commissioned each of us to use our life experiences, talents and financial resources to glorify His kingdom. We believe the church offers an opportunity for you to share the story of God’s love with others in generous, purposeful, and service oriented ways. We give because we care.

The Many Ways to Give and Grow God's Kingdom

You can give online with your debit/credit card. Egiving allows you to give to BUMC at home, on vacation, at work, from your mobile device...wherever! Simply use the egiving site to set up a one time gift, or recurring (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc) gifts. Use egiving instead of checks - save time and paper! Egiving also allows you to monitor your pledge, and print statements for tax purposes.

Get Started Now!

BILL PAY

Streamline your giving! Set up a bill-pay option through your bank to give regularly. Please contact us if you are not sure what your envelope number is at mindy.davidson@broomfieldumc.org or 720-880-5217.

AUTOMATIC TITHING DEDUCTION
(ACH GIVING)

Go green - you don't have to write out checks anymore! Contributions are debited automatically from your checking or savings account on a bi-monthly or monthly basis. So if you can’t make it to church because of life circumstances, your giving remains consistent. Please complete the ACH Giving form and return to Mindy Davidson.
STOCKS/BONDS/SECURITIES

Appreciated Marketable Securities are a great way to maximize your giving, because you receive an immediate income tax deduction for the full fair market value of your securities. In addition, you pay no capital gains tax on the difference between your cost and the fair market value. For more information on giving stocks/bonds/securities, please contact the church at mindy.davidson@broomfieldumc.org or at 720-880-5217.

PLANNED GIVING

Include BUMC in your will, or explore other options for planned giving. Call Mindy Davidson for language to assist you and your attorney in creating or revising your will to include the Church.

NON-CASH GIFTS

Give and receive tax benefits! Do you have personal property or real estate to donate? We consider non-cash donations on a case-by-case basis. Contact the BUMC office at 303-466-1719 or email mindy.davidson@broomfieldumc.org.

There are several benefits to online giving for both you and our church. Some of them are. . .

Faithfully Honoring God

When you sign up to give online you are deciding in advance to faithfully give. God always blesses that kind of faith! The Bible teaches that we are to honor God with the "First Fruits" of our labor (Proverbs 3:9). By setting up a recurring contribution that is scheduled to come out of your account on the day you specify, you can ensure that your first fruits are faithfully given back to God.

Simplicity

You won’t have to remember whether you gave this month or send in an offering by mail when you’re on a trip.

Security

We utilize an encrypted secure website for your online records. Online giving is more secure than giving with a check or cash because an electronic gift can’t be lost or stolen.

Focus

Instead of having to worry about writing a check and filling out an envelope during the service, you can be fully focused on the worship service, knowing that you have already given your offering.

Helping BUMC

Online giving is more cost effective for our church to process, and it makes our record keeping much easier.

GIVING KIOSKS

A direct way to give locally and globally. Our Giving Kiosks, located in the church lobby and Fellowship Hall, allows you to use your debit or credit card to give directly to the general fund or current church initiative.

BY MAIL

Mail your donation check when you mail your bills! Our staff will process your donation in the same careful, confidential manner we handle all donations. Mail your donations to:

Broomfield United Methodist Church
545 W. 10th Ave.
Broomfield, CO 80020

NON-CASH GIFTS

Give and receive tax benefits! Do you have personal property or real estate to donate? We consider non-cash donations on a case-by-case basis.

STEWARDSHIP

The ministry of Broomfield United Methodist Church is funded by God's provision through the tithes and offerings of faithful members and attenders. At BUMC we honor God's provision by exercising wise and faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and full accountability so that the financial integrity of our church remains beyond reproach. Our mission is facilitated through our system of internal controls over financial reporting and our internal budgeting and reporting processes. Additionally, BUMC has an annual financial review performed by an independent accounting firm. You may request a copy of our most recent financial statements or ask general questions about our financial practices at any time.

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Luke 6:38

ONLINE GIVING PRIVACY POLICIES

Your information is held securely by NCS Services system. This information will remain private and will never be given to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions. You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be cancelled. If you have any problems or questions related to this, please contact us by email or at 720-880-5217.
