In an older understanding of congregational care, the clergy was the primary caregiver. More recently, congregational care has come from clergy and laity alike. Our Congregational Care Team is a combination of several different ministries, each offering special spiritual gifts to others, as a compassionate response to those in need. Our combined group offers to those experiencing short-term crises, programs to support the health and wellness for body, mind and spirit. The Care Team will connect you or your loved ones to the group within Broomfield United Methodist Church that best meets the needs. Examples include:

Stephen Ministry: one-on-one care and guidance
Prayer Team: prays for individuals
Heart to Heart: weekly visits/phone calls to those in care centers, hospitalized or homebound
Kenny Utecht Food Ministry: provides meals for families and individuals

If you or someone you know could use help through a difficult time such as an illness, surgery, loss of a loved one, etc., please contact the Congregational Care Team by submitting a request form HERE. You may also call the confidential private voice mail box (720-880-5201) and a member of the team will return your call within 24 hours.
